At Palais Rhoul Dakhla, we take hygiene and cleanliness standards very seriously and implement additional measures to ensure the safety of our guests. Our health and safety measures are designed to combat a wide range of viruses, including COVID-19.
Establishing procedures for guest and visitor access:
We have restricted external visits to Palais Rhoul; only guests residing in the house are allowed to enter and exit freely, provided with masks.
Upon each new arrival, we disinfect luggage and shoes with bleach.
We close our suites and rooms for 24 hours between arrivals and departures for thorough cleaning and disinfection of all areas. We follow cleaning and disinfection protocols to clean the rooms after guest departure and before the arrival of the next guest, with special attention to sensitive items.
All fabrics, linens, and various surfaces in the rooms and common areas such as lounges, the African thatched hut, the fitness room, and the yoga room are cleaned either using our industrial steam cleaner that eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and viruses or in our laundry at a temperature of 70°C.
Telecommuting is the rule for all eligible positions, such as reservations and accounting.
For non-eligible positions where maintaining activity is deemed essential, distancing rules are implemented.
We organize the continuation of activities by limiting the number of people present simultaneously in the house (shifted hours, etc.).
We have prohibited meetings and gatherings in our confined spaces.
We understand the extremely challenging situation we all face right now, directly or indirectly affected by the Covid-19 virus. Especially those who have been infected and are fighting for good health, as well as our heroes working tirelessly to end this pandemic. To all of you, and especially to the medical staff, Palais Rhoul sends a message filled with encouragement and goodwill.
